How we collect it: from Google when you sign in with Google, and from what you enter yourself. Access logs are created automatically while you use the Service. We don't use your Google sign-in tokens to read any other Google data, such as Gmail or Drive.

Legal basis: we process this information without asking for consent because it is necessary to perform our service agreement with you (Article 15(1)(4) of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act). Only people 14 or older can create an account, so we don't knowingly process the personal information of children under 14 (see section 6).

2. Information that is public

Your nickname and your scorings (video, title, player name, style, records and notes, freestyle evaluation, overall comment, earlier versions and change notes) can be seen by anyone, including people who aren't signed in. Your email address, Google account name and profile photo are not made public.

The nickname screen is pre-filled with your Google account name. If you don't want to show your real name, change it to a different nickname. You can't change your nickname yourself after you set it.

If someone forks your scoring, its title, player name, style, records, notes, evaluation and overall comment are copied into their scoring. The copy belongs to them, so it stays even if you delete your scoring or your account.

In notes and overall comments, please don't include information that could identify other people. If you are the player in a video and want your name or anything written about you in a scoring corrected or removed, email privacy@yojudge.com.

3. Service providers and international transfers

We use the following companies (processors) to help run the Service. Their servers are outside Korea, so your personal information is transferred outside Korea.

Company and contact
Databricks, Inc. (Neon) privacy@databricks.com
Location
Singapore (servers), United States (headquarters)
What they do for us
Storing the database, handling sign-in
Information transferred
Google account information, sign-in data, nickname, scorings
Company and contact
Vercel Inc. privacy@vercel.com
Location
Singapore (servers), United States (headquarters). Requests pass through the part of Vercel's network nearest to you
What they do for us
Hosting the website and running the server, storing access logs, visitor analytics
Information transferred
Access logs, and information that passes through the server when pages are built (Google account information, sign-in data, nickname, scorings)

When and how it's transferred: over encrypted connections, when you sign up and whenever you use the Service. Retention: the companies keep it for the periods in section 1 and delete it when our contract with them ends.

Because the Service runs only on servers outside Korea, if you don't want your information transferred outside Korea, you need to stop using the Service or delete your account (see section 7). Even if you only browse without signing in, access logs are transferred to Vercel. After you delete your account, you can't use features that require signing in, such as saving scorings or forking.

4. Sharing with third parties and outside services

We don't share your personal information with other companies or individuals, except where the law requires us to hand it over, such as when law enforcement presents a warrant.

The Service uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube player). Videos on the screens for creating and viewing scorings play in the YouTube player. When you open these screens, even without signing in, YouTube (Google LLC) may collect information using cookies and similar technologies under its own policy. Watching videos is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

Information that Google processes for Google sign-in and the YouTube player is governed by the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Cookies and browser storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. However, YouTube may use its own cookies on screens that show videos (see section 4). Our visitor analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) count page views and similar figures without cookies, in a way that can't identify you.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, but then you can't sign in.

6. Users under 14

You must be 14 or older to create an account.

7. Deleting your account and your information

To delete your account, sign in, select your nickname at the top of the screen to open your Account page, and choose Delete account. Your account is deleted right away. If you can't sign in, email privacy@yojudge.com from the email address of the Google account you signed in with, and we'll delete your account within 5 days of receiving your request. We treat such emails as inquiries and keep them for 1 year after we finish replying.

How and when we delete information: we delete information from the database within 5 days of receiving a deletion request or of its retention period ending. Backups used for database recovery are kept for up to 7 days and then deleted automatically; after that, the information can't be restored. Inquiry emails are deleted from our mailbox when their retention period ends.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to give you access to, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop processing it. Email privacy@yojudge.com from the email address of the Google account you sign in with. We'll confirm that the request comes from you and handle it within 10 days of receiving it. You can also make requests through a representative, who needs a letter of authorization.

You can edit or delete your scorings, and delete your account, yourself (see section 7). However, earlier versions stay visible to everyone after you edit, and deleted scorings remain in the database (see section 7). To remove earlier versions or a whole scoring, ask by email. Nicknames can't be changed in the Service yet, so please ask by email.

If the law where you live gives you more rights, you can exercise them in the same way.
